Module 4 explores the close relationship between environmental sustainability and personal health, with a focus on how everyday food choices and environmental conditions influence both individual wellbeing and the planet. Rather than promoting strict lifestyle rules, this module encourages awareness of how sustainable diets, cleaner environments, and healthier communities are interconnected.
Through practical examples, reflective activities and short quizzes, you will examine topics such as sustainable eating habits, the value of local and seasonal foods, plant-based diets, and reducing food waste. The module also highlights how air quality, water and soil conditions, climate change, and access to green spaces affect physical and mental health. The aim is to help you make informed, balanced decisions that support your health while contributing to environmental sustainability and community wellbeing.
